Official Google Reader Blog: “We found it!”
One of the things I’ve been disappointed in right from the beginning when using Google reader was the lack of any search functionality whatsoever. This was especially disappointing considering this is Google we’re talking about and search is their bread and butter. Well they finally did it, there is now search functionality in Google Reader!!
Next time you log in it should be sitting front and center right at the top of the page. (Click the image below for full size screen cap)
And it functions as well as we’ve come to expect from Google allowing you to restrict search to specific categories, flags (Starred, shared, etc) and even individual feeds.
